***Trip takes back-to-back four-point majors at the spectacular Rose City Classic shows in Portland in January***
Trip wins WD, BOW, and BOB at Moses Lake April 13, and WD, BOW, and BOB both days in Walla Walla, April 26 & 27. Trip finished his Championship title on July 26 in Sequim, WA, expertly handled by Tonya Struble.

We are honored to have Trip tested and included in the breeding program of Summit Service Dogs

"Trip" (Nipntuck Cheerleaders Triple Play)
is a lovely son of Rah Rah and multiple BISS CH Hyspire Sureshot Impressive. Trip was Best Puppy at PSLRA 2006, and is the only yellow littermate to the already multiple specialty winners Booty, Nat (CH Nipntuck Unforgetable, owned by the Hyspire ladies and WD, BOW at the Potomac Bare Bones show, and WD, BOB at GGLRC), and Drummer (owned by Rick Mullen and Cindy King, multiple specialty WD and BOB winner, including WD and BOB at PSLRA 2007 and multiple Best in Sweeps winner). Trip has grown up very nicely, he is a sweet, mellow boy with a beautiful head and structure. Now that he is finished, he is retired to my parents' home as their pet. They miss him when he is away at dog shows.

Trip's back-to-back four-point majors at the Rose City Classic shows in Portland came under the talented guidance of Tonya Strubel. Tonya was able to do what I hoped she would, take the cute, goober marshmallow of a dog I had been showing and present the beautiful (although still a wiggle worm) Labrador underneath. The Labrador ring at the Portland shows was a huge entry, filled with lovely dogs, top-notch breeders and professional handlers. To be able to win back-to-back majors here was a real honor, I am so pleased! Of course Tonya has continued to show Trip, and they have been extremely successful.

Here is Trip's pedigree. There are many more pictures of Trip and Barry on the Portland Dog Shows slideshow.

Marion Hopkinson's critique of Trip after winning the BBE class at the Canadian National: "Very typey yellow with a melting expression from a well-chiselled head, good construction throughout with firm topline and good quarter. . . One I liked a lot."

Here is Genie at 12 months old, Trip's daughter from his first litter, owned by Linda Maffett and Buffie Gonzales. Are they peas in a pod of what? :) Genie won the 12-18 month class at SJVLRC and was one of two bitches pulled for Best in Sweeps, then wowed the crowds and won both her huge, beautiful classes at Potomac. I had TWO people say to me--"OMG she is PERFECT." :)
