Archie at nearly seven years old

Our kennel foundation is BISS Am/Can CH Nipntuck Arncha Bold, JH, CD. Archie was a sweet tempered dog with an astounding six Specialty Best in Show wins (back when there were much fewer specialties to attend), dozens of Best of Breeds and Group Placements. He is still the apple of our eye, but sadly Archie passed away at home Sept. 2005 after a brief illness. He was an extraordinary Labrador, and is missed every day. I have a more specific list of his wins, clearances, pedigree, a spectacular critique, and more pictures of Archie.

CH Nipntuck Twinkle In Our Eye "Twinkle"
(CH Tabatha's Gingerbread Cutter, CD, JH x Nipntuck Oldham Beatrix)
OptiGen A1

Twinkle is a spectacular bitch, and thrilled us by going Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex at RCLRC 2000 under judge Kendall Herr. This is her in July 2001 winning BOB and a Group IV at Bell-Vernon KC under Robert Ennis, all from the BBE class. Twinkle is now spayed. Thanks, Twinkle and Cindy Frost for everything you’ve added to this kennel.

"Hannah"
CH Nipntuck Handmade
(Copthorne's Breezy Uno x Nipntuck Oldham Beatrix)

In her brief show career, Hannah was an amazing winner for us. In her first year of dog shows she was BISweeps at the BCLRC Specialty, WB, BOW, and BOS at the PSLRA Specialty at just 14 months old, then BOSweeps at the LRC, Inc. National Specialty. She finished her championship in Sept. '01, just after her second birthday. I co-own Hannah with Julie and Erik Nordstrom, and she has been spayed and retired to live the life of the spoiled housedog.

"Scout"
Can. CH Nipntuck Cotcha Watchin'
(Shadow Hills Huxson x Nipntuck Pipeline Secretdrft)
dob Jan. 13, 1998, OFA Good, Normal elbows, eyes CERF'd annually

Scout went Winner's Bitch under Bill Gugins at the LRCC '99, and then again at the Canadian National Specialty 2000 under Eric Bergishagen. Scout is retired and living in her wonderful pet home where she was raised.

"Kicker" CH Morraine's Malcolm at Zinfndel x Nipntuck Felicia

BISS Am/Can CH Nipntuck Ferncroft Keepsake, WC, was the #2 Labrador for 1998. He has multiple specialty BOB wins and Group placements, but was sold to another breeder, as at the time I was unable to keep two stud dogs. That breeder sold him to Japan, where he resides today.

Nipntuck Congeniality "Charm"
(Scout x CH Valleywood Blackthorn Brier, OptiGen A1)
OptiGen A1

Charm has three Best Puppies and eight class wins at specialties her puppy summer. Charm was also WB and BOW at the All Retriever Club of BC's specialty in July '03 from the Bred By Exhibitor Class, and was Best Bred By Exhibitor PSLRA 2004. Charm has OFA Good hips and OFA normal elbows. Her puppies are even more beautiful than she is, from her last litter three bitches already have major wins or RWBs. She has been a great producer for us, and has earned her retirement. Thanks, Charm, we love ya!

Of course, all these dogs are with us thanks to our first Labrador, Bailey, and her daughter, Colby, both Utility Dogs with multiple High in Trial wins. Colby (Nipntuck Almost Ivy League, UD, JH), has won 11 HITs and was the #1 obedience Labrador in the country for Open Scores in 1994.
